On-line learning for health services

Home Care Information Network is our on-line learning platform specializing in content for Home Health and Hospice providers. Since 2006 we have harnessed rich media technology to capture conference presentations and to produce studio recordings and live-streamed events with industry experts.

In the convenience of their home or office administrators and practitioners are able to view assigned courses, complete tests of learning achievement, and receive certificates of course completion. We are currently partnering with the Texas Association for Home Care & Hospice to produce courses for administrator training, both initial and ongoing CEs, as required by Texas HCSSA.

Auditing tools for the 21st Century.

Medical chart audits were first used to improved Quality of Care. But Home Care and Hospice agencies serving Medicare patients also know that audits are now a financial issue directly impacting the bottom line. Such agencies can no longer afford to conduct chart audits by paper form or individual spreadsheets.

PIChartAudit is a cloud-based application with fast and efficient capture tools for chart audits. Question sets are automatically customized for the audit type (Start of Care, Recerts, etc). Randy began his career in the technology sector with much of his time in the home health care industry. His depth of knowledge encompasses regulatory compliance, clinical documentation, staff training, sales & marketing and online training platforms.

Tom has worked largely in health care with forays into finance, HR services, construction management, and has served as technical consultant on new venture exploratory teams.  "Each industry domain does something particularly well so I've tended to cross boundaries and take the best from each."

Tom has been the software architect and project manager for all desktop and cloud-based software products offered by Focus55, Inc and its predecessor, Stony Hill Management.  His educational foundation in Psychology continues to influence product design with the goal of crafting a user experience that is intuitively simple.  Tom continues to guide product design and development while also managing system operations and integrations.
